I like the new page. I did a quick search of the US Patent Office website to try to find a patent date for the original Langley DeLiar, but had no success. I did find a 1989 electronic DeLiar, but none of the patents it referred to were the original Langley one. I suspect that like many old patents, the Langley DeLiar patent is not available in full text, but only as scanned images, and so searching for things like "Langley" and "DeLiar" won't help. However, I might be able to find something if I had a patent number... Do any of your DeLiars list the patent number on them? (I assume that the Patent Pending versions wouldn't. :-) ) If you track down a patent number for me, I'll see what I can do about getting you a date. And not the kind of date that might upset WMM.
