Well, if you get him staggering backwards and have dropped two weapons, you'll need to recover them both to get back to the starting position. This will take two moves, but it does matter which order you try to recover them.
Then it's three moves in a precise order to win. I think I've already given a hint on what two of those moves might be, so you'll have to try and figure out what the third move is, and what order to try them all in. Just keep trying things, and if you're still stuck, drawing a flowchart might help.
