Pondering in GOA

I've been sitting in my friendly, neighborhood pub
for a while now, pondering the advice of a
barkeep.
I need to figure out what the ring that the dude
used to turn the Gwuils into...well, Gwuils looks
like, so that I can get a copy made. I've walked
around town a couple of times, hoping to find
something on the ground, or have some divine
inspiration. Needless to say, none came. I've
also tried messing up the kitchen a couple times.
Is there anyone in there *knocks on her screen*
that can help me?
