As someone who is currently registered as a Republican, and who did not vote for either Bush or Gore in the last election, I beg to differ. Bush is our leader, and I'm not going to try to dethrone him or challenge his authority. But I'm also not going to ignore it when civil liberties are challenged. Frankly, I couldn't care less about which political party is in office, because it really doesn't seem to make much difference. The important things are individual issues and rights.
