I think people think they have too many "rights". Humans only have rights because they are able to give themselves rights. If humans were not the dominant species on the earth, and another species hunted humans, we would not have rights, as we would not be able to secure them.

The Bill of Rights guarantees the right to free speech, the right to keep and bear arms, the right to not be forced to quarter soldiers, the right to not be unlawfully search, the right to protect yourself from self-incrimination, etc, etc...
It DOES NOT guarantee the right 1) To not be offended 2) To have your free speech heard, listened to, or tolerated 3) To the money someone else earned, etc, etc, etc.
If you want rights, you have to be prepared to defend them. Needs aren't rights.
