Well, I already feel stupid at being stuck only four chapters in with my very first Story Hunt, Duke of Gloom.

I've tried things from the palindrome page, Slapdash City and "Guess My Number", and the Fun With Words page...to no avail! I'm guessing the crux of the riddle is the "backwards" clue, but I'm totally out of ideas...
