Well, no. Yes, the word pagan did used to be used in that way (much like 'heathen', not specific to Christianity either... pagans/heathens were anyone who did not adhere to the religious beliefs of the speaker) but nowadays followers of assorted earth-based belief sets tend to use the term for themselves.

However, I would say that it's not a religion per se, just a term used for a grouping of somewhat similar belief systems.
