I think it's all been said but I wanted to echo koalamom's sentiments in the "way to go!" department. I teach Sunday School at my church (or I did before I went away to University) and while it can be draining, frustrating and tiring, it is sooo much fun and it really is great to feel that you are making a difference to some kid's life. You might not see evidence of 'spiritual growth' in the first few days of your teaching but you can never know the impact that you have on children...I've been so surprised that a lesson that I thought went terribly actaully had a big effect on a kid. It also helps your 'spiritual growth' (and I say it in inverted commas because it isn't a phrase I often use)too...I feel closest to God when I'm with children.
