My question is, if a dry wind makes you "feel" ten degrees cooler than you would without the wind, would a damp wind, blowing at the same speed, change how much cooler you would feel? > > 2. What is the most crossed state border? My guess is the New York/New Jersey border, because of all the Fauxs Pas commuting every day between New Jersey and the city. But it's just a guess, and I'm curious as about arguments for or against other possibilities. > > 3. At what time of day is the average length of everybody's hair in the world longest?
1. Chill factors are a function of temperature, humidity and wind speed. I don't know the formula for calculating chill factors, I just leave that up to the weatherman on TV.
2. The Tennessee/Georgia border at Chattanooga is the most crossed boundry in the world, and I do most of the crossing. Unlike most Tennesseans, I don't go to Georgia just for the cheap gas and lottery tickets. I have grandchildren there.
3. I have no qualifications for answering this question, but I refuse to take off my hat to prove it. Howard
