Got the vest after finally cracking the sandstone mines! As for the sledgehammer, I helped someone in the mines and got nothing but a thank you - ungrateful oaf! I guess I'll just have to keep looking and see if htere is anyone else who needs a hand. Or maybe my good deed will pay off later....
