And I understand that race is in Loudon, N.H.
Our county seat here in Tennessee is Loudon and the name of the county is Loudon. Strangely enough, both were named for Fort Loudoun (note English Spelling)which was named for the Earl of Loudoun. Loudon County is also the home of Fort Loudoun Dam and Fort Loudon Lake an embayment of the Tennessee River. Some times you get Loudoun with both u's and sometimes you get only one. I understand there is a Loudon (or Loudoun) County in Virginia near the District of Columbia. The Earl really got around.
Tourist in this area tend to confuse Loudon (the town) with London, Kentucky. Both are on I-75 and people don't always know what state they are in.
