I thought you might like it there, Eric.
To me, the language is one of the most beautiful things about Hawaii. When I hear "aloha" and "mahalo," I get the warm fuzzies. The language is not difficult. Vowells are pronounced as in Spanish, and usually each vowell is different syllable. An exception is the au sound that comes out ow as in owl. Most good tourbooks have a section on the language.
