I know it's unfair to hold George W responsible for someone else, but wasn't it his father who had the Gulf War won and then pulled out without finishing the job? I fear that we will have to do it all over again. Just in case the seed doesn't fall too far from the Bush*, I seem to want to avoid another Bush in the White House.
Throwing the obvious corollary onto the table, hasn't Clinton done just a fantastic job directing the forces in Bosnia? No time limits, no specific plans, no limits on the number of troops sent over, etc. My brother joined the national guard a couple months ago, just before they switched the deal and made it a full-time group to help with the army overseas. This couldn't have any relevance to how ready the army is, could it?
>Al has the experience ... > Howard
Just a difference of opinion, but I don't consider a life in politics adequate experience for dealing in any affairs* except politics. I'd much rather vote for someone with the majority of their experience in the private sector.
gabby *no pun intended
