A nonsensical commercial that really bugs me is the oreo Got Milk? commercial: Some commitee is eating the recently invented Oreo's and discussing what they should call them. One guy stuffs his face with cookies and then realizes he's out of milk, so when someone asks for his opinion, all he can say is "Oreo". Everyone in the room thinks this a great idea for a cookie name and tell the guy he's a genius. Then the Got Milk? logo flashes. What? Doesn't this give the message that if you DON'T have milk GOOD things will happen to you? And aren't the Got Milk? commercials supposed to be pro-milk?
