As those people well know who faithfully commit to memory every single thing I've ever posted in this Forum (there must be at least a few dozen, right?), I pronounce the name of the state "Maffachufetts", since that's how it looks in old, cherished, yellowing, vacuum-sealed historical documents from a bygone era when the letter "s", appearing in the middle of a word, was elongated and looked an awful lot like an "f" instead. Man, that's got to be one of the longest sentences I've blurted in awhile.
