That's true; I think pears would be my second choice.

The curious thing about bananas is that people disagree about just when the "optimum stage of ripeness" is. I happen to like my bananas with a little bit of green still in the peel; otherwise they're mushy. Some people, on the other hand, prefer to eat bananas once the peel is starting to turn brown.

I think that proves that peaches and pears are better answers to the poll question than bananas. :)
