Where's the "prequel" to this verse that you're referring to -- the actual "Bob Ate the Couch" part from...last December, you say?!

The original "Bob Ate the Couch" poem was written by eric sleator. He typed the whole thing out in a chat session, at which point I ad libbed a sequel (at which point Brunnen-G went stark raving mad and people started leaving the chat room). It was pretty good for ad lib....but I kept thinking about it, and I came up with this one (which is way better).

Unfortunately, I didn't keep a copy of eric's poem, so you'd have to ask him for it. Or maybe Sam, if he kept the log of the chat session.

Incidentally, that was the day before yesterday. I made up that "December" thing just to get it to rhyme. For all I know, eric might have WRITTEN the poem in December....
