As with a good number of other items/places, the trapped key and the arcs are relevant only in the full game, but you at least get some points for finding the arcs in the preview.
The only thing that I changed for the preview was disabling the RZEP password - although I wasn't particularly worried that anyone would randomly guess it correctly, had I left it in, it would have been totally impractical to get 100% of the available points.
