I'm stuck on the second floor of the tower. I've tried standing on the white platform and it tells me that it requires a starlight stone, but I have one so I'm confused there. I don't understand the inscription on the wall. I've managed to make it through the door to the north but as soon as I begin to explore one of those hallways, I black out and start over. Any hints would be appreciated.

I'm really hoping I'm not missing something and need to come back later....that first floor took awhile.
