What do you mean by "get past"?! Just don't stick around, it's as simple as that.
Did you even try to enter tower? (And if at first you didn't succeed...)
Did you ever talk to the soothsayer? What did she ask from you?
Sorry, there's nothing you can do right now in order to get into the volcano.
