If you get into situations like this in the future, remember the AGL instructions mention:
"You may play these games to your heart's content without fear of doing anything that will render your quest impossible. If you end up in a spot where you believe your quest is no longer solvable, it is probably because there's something you can do that you haven't thought of yet."
So you don't have to worry :-)
