I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere in forever. maybe someone could point me in the right direction? I know I must not have tried everything but it seems like I have. I don't even know what I should be looking for

here's what I have

26 Dollars
Hannibal
Feather
Cord
Spittoon

Matches
Altar Cloth
Key
Beer

Wood
Hat Pin
Playing Cards
Cabbage

I checked into the inn, went to dinner and talked to a man who is never in his room and a woman who gave me a ring which I took to the saloon to get upstairs. I got a cord from the window, but can't do anything else up there really (am I supposed to?)

am I missing something totally obvious?
