It's been a while since I played that game, so I can't give you any specifics. If you found the amulet half on that level, you should be able to find another one somewhere; possibly in the same area where you found the first one, I'm not sure. Alternately, it's possible, although I think unlikely, that getting past that point might depend on who you have for company.
