I can't get in the tower or past the sphinx:

Inventory:
You're Carrying:

16 Onions
Crown of Destiny
Cross
Pliers

Sack
Float Ring
Roc Feather
Iron Support

Small Silver Coin
Sap Tap
Coconut
Sword

Silver Key
Bucket of Sea Water
Blue Rubber Ball
Sunstone

Thanks for any help. Just hints though, please.
