This does look interesting to me, but a little flawed. First, wouldn't most of the men on a Viking ship have been sailors of decent or better sailing experience? From what I gathered, only a few of the 65 volunteers have any experience at all. Second, due to such experience on board the ships, wouldn't all but the youngest Viking sailors have been more accustomed to cramped quarters and a lack of privacy? As an experiment, it sounds interesting, but I don't know that it's a real test of how capable the ship itself is of making the voyage.
