Is that Spam?

The Hormel people are getting pretty fed up with us calling junk email "spam." I can't blame them. They have used that word as a trademark for generations. Spam is ham in a can. Don't knock it if you ain't tried it. It's good stuff and very good cooked in different ways. Spam (Big S) is practacally a way of life in Hawaii. It's sort of an official state dish.

But now people are tromping all over their trademark with words like Spaminator, and it makes their product sound like something not so good. I think they are going to court over it.

So why don't we get our little Rinkie heads together and think up a new name. My suggestion is in the first paragraph. Junk email sounds good to me. Or shorten it to Jail, leaving out the unkem. I think it sounds better to say, "I just deleted a bunch of Jail."
