This is not my thing, but some on here might think it is interesting.

My son and grandson have a little project going. At age 41 and 18, they share an interest in antique video games. They have collected about a dozen of those old arcade games where you stand up working controls and watch the action on a TV screen. They are in tall wooden cabinets with outlandish artwork on the sides and front. Originally, you put quarters into them. The old relics have been restored to new condition.

So they got busy and remodeled their basement into a retro-look arcade. The ceiling is dark, and the floor has carpet. One wall is lined with the old games and there is a sit-down version of Space Invaders off to one side. I have not seen the finished project, but those who have, always make the same comment: "Wow!"

It's a lot like collecting scooters. When a father and son share an interest, both generations win.
