Maybe it's just a typo.

I was reading an article in a Tennessee newspaper today. It was about a new auto assembly plant that was coming to the area. There were two sites near Tennessee cities, but the one chosen was in Mississippi. First the article said the location was in "northeast Mississippi. Then it said it was just 10 miles out of Memphis. I don't have a map with me right now but I think that is a contradiction. Memphis is near the northwestern corner of Mississippi. At any rate, it is near Tupelo, and I think I need to pinpoint that town as soon as I get home. It could be a typo, or maybe the information was supplied by someone who is geographically challenged.
Yes, you have heard of Tupelo, it's the birthplace of Elvis. And I think that is very close to Memphis. I guess I could look it up on the net. Howard
