I see in your inventory you have a map of the maze correct? It's that little thing just above the Nymphs Fountain. It's oval on top and has a stand on the bottom. Try and make your way there.

I revisited the lawn, picked up the spade, dug up the box, and went to town, bought some things. Now have the translated papyrus, cogwheel and stone head. Going to look above the nymph's fountain now.Thanks.
