I tend to agree with you. I do wonder if the company wanted to create such a reation, although I doubt that they wanted it to go so far.

I'm certainly not a bomb expert, but based on news reports, a real bomb is much more likely to be inside some sort of a briefcase or backpack, instead of being a blinking device that superficially resembles a movie or stunt bomb.
