You need to find (for now) four gold coins. Give them to the soothsayer (the witchie woman) who is north of the tree with the wall. She will give you hints and passwords. When you give her the 4th gold coin she will give you password. How many gold coins have you found? Judging from your inventory you're in pretty good shape. You just need to give the soothsayer more gold coins. You will need the oil later in the game. You need to give someone that scroll. If you click on it in your inventory the game will tell you what is it used for. The person in need of the scroll has a password also.
