OK, so it has a few expensive imported ingredients. To me that seems somehow... what's the word I'm thinking of? It's not 'rude' exactly, but it is kind of offensive. Your own country's food isn't good enough for you, so you have to import?

I will hold my hand up and say right now that I don't necessarily buy local produce, but where possible I will (some of the fruit is from outside the UK, for example it might be from Spain where the climate is better suited to the fruit). It is usually a little more expensive to buy local, but where it isn't massively more expensive, I'll support the local community, or at least the nation.

I would object actually to spending that much (equivalent) on a burger and fries, because for that much money I could go into a restaurant and eat a three course meal (if I wanted to) which would be more nutritional, more filling and better for the economy, and probably the environment as well since I won't have to have ingredients flown/shipped in from up to hundreds of miles away.
