I believe you are thinking of "Fractured Fairy Tales", that was indeed part of Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Great show, and I wish someone could bring them back to today's TV

My personal Favorite Fairy Tale Stew is "The Thingy and the Thingies" It was certainly interesting trying to figure out what the thingy was before it's purpose was shown. Although the run-on sentences tend to throw me in a loop, so to speak. I certainly don't remember reading fairy tales with sentences that long!
