Dope? DOPE? Where on earth does anybody in their right mind call a soft drink "dope?"

Anyway, back to the quiz... I still find it interesting that I have no trace of a southern accent despite the fact that I spent seven years (from when I was 3 until just after I turned 10) living in South and North Carolina. I probably did have at least a hint of it when we first returned to the "Midland," as the quiz calls it, but I must have lost it fairly quickly.

Neither of my sisters has a southern accent anymore either, although there was definite proof that they did at one time... we had an old cassette tape that they had recorded when they were little, singing happy birthday, or should I say "heppy barthdai", in a very thick Nawth Ca'lina accent.

I wish I knew where that tape was... it'd be fun to listen to it again.
