Heh. Back in the day, when I was still taking Spanish class (...which was last year), dictionary.com and babelfish were our best friends. I just used it as a guide, though, because dictionary.com is not a very comprehensive translator. It works alright for single words and phrases, but when it comes to an entire paragraph, it doesn't work very well at all. Therefore, it helps to have mutiple translators (read: official Spanish dictionary) by your side to verify that your phrases are correct. Usually, I just type something out in Spanish and translate it -back- to English, to see how it did.

Dictionary.com doesn't exactly understand slang/idioms, either, so you'd have to make sure you don't enter in any of those. In other words: if you have a native Spanish speaker reading your Spanish translations, he/she will know that you translated it. The structure of the words, etc, aren't moved around to be the proper Spanish structure, but they stay in the English format instead.
