You hit upon the key to the whole thing, I'm sure. There are people like this in any of life's circumstances. Negativity builds up and unleashes itself everywhere there's an opportunity. It's never personal, but it's hard not to take personally.

I think everybody is like this to a point. Some are like that habitually. The rest of us have our moments. I can be prone to these sorts of funks, where a few things set me in the wrong mood, and then everything ticks me off, because nothing will turn up sources of annoyance like an attitude that looks for it. I've learned to deal with that (imperfectly) by withdrawing from people (avoid the opportunity to hurt) and praying (God is a God of peace).

I just can't imagine living all the time in that kind of mentality. It's not fun at all, let alone for anybody who happens to be around you.
