If it's just iTunes you don't want to use, there are lots of other software applications that play mp3s that can also burn them to audio CD. MusicMatch JukeBox is one that I have and have used for that purpose.

If you're looking for something that's strictly for converting playlists of mp3s into audio CDs, I'm sure that it exists, but I have not this knowledge and must leave it to somebody more techwise that I to 'splain it to you.
