That's a fair question since you know you can't trust everything you read. I take Snopes with a grain of salt, since I have had a few friends find something inaccurate on there. But overall they seem fairly reliable about citing their sources when they claim something is true or false. If they can't find specific evidence they mark it as undetermined.

I'd be curious to know what others around here have found good or bad about Snopes and whether they are a mostly "trustworthy" site...
