I tend to look for Site market to start after Monster arena finishes (or when I am finished with it) ;) And then I am several days late, which really hurts. I guess the drawback of staying aorund too long in monster arena is to forget about site market ;)

My preference would be:

Monster Arena: 1st - 15th of the month
Site Market 16th-30th of the month

Or something like that. Each one being half a month, not overlapping (expect in february probably)
