I also just love it when people think it's prefectly fine to ask people their ages all over the place on the internet. I still don't do that, but I can understand why some people do, since you have only a vague idea of who you are talking to online.

My great aunt (by marriage, sadly - I would love to share her genes), has never admitted her age. The stock answer (and one I taught my children) is that she's 29. She was still 29 when I was 30, and I'm her *great* niece!

This year, she's started telling folks her real age, because, as she puts it, she's getting cooler and better presents every birthday. She's 95.

My husband changed his life ambition after picking her up for a family dinner with her last year (Aunt Lu will go anywhere, anytime, and ask you questions you'd better have answers for, no matter how obscure).

He said "Forget wealth, forget being famous, forget all that. I want to be 94 years old, and eat a cob of corn with my own teeth."

te"Guess I'm 24 going on 34?" ach
