Just a little worried

We have serious weather problems. Watches include tornadoes, flood, and thunderstorms. Radar shows the whole mess will be here in less than an hour.

Willette and I arrived home from the scooter meet less than four hours ago. I managed to unload the back of the truck, which included one scooter. So that one is safely in the shop. Two others, probably my best scooters, are still in the trailer out by the driveway. It's an enclosed trailer, but with some of the wind they are talking about, that might not be enough.

We got to within 20 miles of home this afternoon before we saw any serious rain. Then the bottom fell out. We saw some minor flooding and the truck hydroplaned a couple of times. Hydroplaning in a truck while pulling a trailer is no fun at all. But we got home intact, and hope to stay that way.

Unfortunately, the ground is completely saturated and any rain that falls will run off. I left a 5 gallon bucket sitting in the open when we left last Thursday and it had 3 gallons of water in it when we got home. That would be 8 to 10 inches of rain, at least. As expected, sticks litter the yard.

It will be at least a week, but I have some great pictures to post. North Georgia is beautiful, and we had a grand time.
