Some of my best puns are unintended. Just as I clicked the button to send that post about the snake, I realized it contained a better than average pun. The trouble is that I failed to include all of the information needed to catch it.

You see, the corner where the snake left his skin, is over the gas meter. Notice that I referred to the length as "over a meter." For that matter, it was under a meter, too, because there is an electric meter just above where he deposited his skin. But for the benefit of Rinkies from outside the U.S., I included the metric unit. Actually, I would not be surprised it he was between 125 and 130 centemeters long.

I might measure his discarded skin, but a steel tape measure would probably scare the living daylights out of him if I tried to measure the snake. That would be a little too cozy for me too.
