So, how far can you swim?

Last time I checked, I could swim a little over 500 feet. I did it for a Boy Scout thing way back when. (To a teenager that's like 4 years ago, hehe) I swam a lot in the pool we had before we moved out. It's a lot of fun and you actually get exercise without realizing it. I bet I've probably upped my average by about 100-150 feet. Hey, it's not far, but I suppose it's good for someone my age. I'd go scuba diving or be a lifeguard or something, they look like cool things to do for a living, but I have a horrid fear of sea creatures. I mean, all that coral concealing things, and sharks, and especially the eels, rays, octopi & urchins REALLY freak me out. *shiver*

Hm... Got a little off-topic there. Anyway, just curious how some of you answered.
