Actor Glenn Ford died at 90. He was one of the good ones. The term "movie star" fits. He was one of my favorites even when I was a kid. He could do comedy as in "Teahouse of the August Moon," and drama as in "Blackboard Jungle." He was great in westerns, which are movies that makes it difficult to be merely good.

There are not many stars of that caliber left.
