Other than construction, I've mainly worked in retail jobs that require a specific uniform. About the loosest company that I've worked for is Walmart; they allow any kind of shoes and a wide variety of shirts and pants. They also have the strangest rule I've ever encountered: for most departments, black jeans, red jeans, white jeans, etc. are acceptable--but except for Fridays, NOT blue jeans.
