We ultimately figured out that only daniel78 was missing. Still later, we discovered he hadn't realized where the rest of us had gone.


I knew perfectly well that everybody else had gone elsewhere, probably Panera. However, I stuck with Quizno's, because 1. I had never been there, 2. I like subs, and 3. I saw no reason to change. I still maintain that you all must have fallen into a time warp or something, because I got back way before anyone else.

In the afternoon, everything took a nosedive. I mean, it wasn't bad, but two problems kicked in: the woefully inadequate air conditioner stopped being able to keep up with the rising heat outside, and I suspect that that, in turn, accentuated the subtle signs of elevation sickness for those of us who live on the coasts.

It was not hot outside, and it wasn't even uncomfortably warm inside (you wimp).

For some reason, I barely remember the swordfight. I guess I must have tuned it out because it wasn't relevant to my demonstration. I think somebody, I don't remember who, took pictures of my penny-cutting activities.
