Poetry Pool

Untitled

If I should open a chest of gold
When I am wrinkled and crippled and old,
I know it will not hold half the worth,
Tho' 'twere gems enough for the world a girth,
That a chestnut burr held when it fell to earth,
When I was a little girl.
