Murder At Midnight (1931)

Reviews and Comments

This atrociously acted low budget murder mystery involves blanks in a gun being swapped for live ammunition just before the gun is fired in a game of charades, killing one of the performers. There isn't a single compelling character, and too much hinges on contrivance.

The story was remade, with slightly more successful results, as The Mystery of Mr. Wong, the second episode in a series.
