Maria Montez and Jon Hall took a break from their arabian adventure flicks to make this film about a band of gypsies and a dashing stranger falsely accused by a corrupt baron of a murder. It was a welcome change. The dialogue is considerably better than in many Montez/Hall movies, and there's plenty of rousing swashbuckler action scenes. Pure fluff, but diverting.
