Reviews and Comments

Of course, any film combining the acting talents of James Woods, Louis Gossett, Jr., and Oliver Platt is bound to be interesting if nothing else. These three aren't big box office draws, but they have exceptional talent and charisma; even in bad films, you're unlikely to be bored watching them.

But Diggstown is a scream. It's not only a great con artist movie, it's also a great boxing movie. If you're a fan of either, you'll probably love it; others are likely to, too. Superbly acted, well-crafted, smart, and suspenseful, this film should not go unnoticed.
